another field trip.

On Friday we went to some sort of zoo/dinosaur museum/greenhouse as a field trip. The zoo was really epically tragic. But they had a ring-necked pheasant. I tried to explain to the kids why I had to stop and take a picture but I don't think they really understood.

I felt pretty bad for them at any rate.

cherry blossoms.

The cherry trees are presently blooming. It looks really nice. All of the foreigners are talking about it. And I mean maybe the Koreans too but I can never really be sure.

These are the trees on a street by my school. I haven't hit the real tourist destinations yet. So, more photos to come.

An update.

In Korea, there are fish tanks in the streets full of monsters. You can buy them and eat them!

This is Jon's apartment. It is on the 13th floor which is bad luck. But still, the luxury is absurd.

I bought houseplants.

Here is what Korea thinks England is like.

This is Hannah acting just like all English people act in a tea shop just like all English tea shops.

Easter.

I'm really sad today because it is Easter and I am stuck in Korea all by myself. With no scalloped potatoes, no chocolate, no jello eggs. Sometimes I really don't like it here and today is one of those days.
Anyway, I miss you all terribly and hope you have a Happy Easter!
